Greg will be performing once again at Unwined Bar in Lane Cove. This intimate venue is the perfect place to come along with friends and enjoy a meal and a drink and listen to some of the greatest songs from the last 40 years performed by Greg Page. Greg's repertoire consists of hit songs from Neil Diamond, John Denver, Glen Campbell, Elvis Presley and more! So come along and Unwined!
Well, three weeks ago now, it was a very emotional weekend - the final performances of the original line up of The Wiggles - yes, the 4 guys who created The Wiggles 21 years ago, performed together for the last time. It was a reunion that began late in 2011, when I was asked to take over from Sam because he was leaving, and the Wiggles wanted me to help out while they made a transition to a new Yellow Wiggle. This changeover was supposed to be managed in a professional, competent way but turned out to be a complete management bungle which was seized on by the media with relish, leaving me and The Wiggles under a black cloud - but more about that later.
Wow! Another great venue in the round today - so many great people up close and personal, enduring heat - however, not quite as hot for us on stage as it was yesterday - perhaps the rain yesterday added to the humidity which we did not have today! Loved the "in the round" nature of the performances yesterday and today. Great to see so many people coming along and enjoying the songs! Thanks again to everyone for making this tour so special for us - our last one in the US - great memories of this tour and all the ones we have had here in the past. Greg
Thank you to all those people who came to the Cape Cod Melody Tent today! Wow, it was hot and humid after the skies opened up and dumped rain on us for about 20 minutes prior to the show. But, as luck would have it, the sun came out, and so did the humidity! It was so hot inside that tent, and a big shout out of admiration to all the parents and kids who endured the heat to enjoy the show. It was a great show in a great environment - a lot of fun was had by us on stage, and we hope that everyone enjoyed the show who came along. On the road now to the next town! See you soon friends, Greg
Well, it's been six years since I was here last, in the US - land of the free and the home of the brave. What a great place, and lovely people. Walking back out on stage here in the US brings back many memories for me - mostly good memories, but of course, memories too of my last time here where I left the tour in 2006,
